¶ Overview
HaySTAC is a compliant, standalone, scalable, and secure server for efficient geospatial data cataloging, discovery, and access, built on STAC principles. HaySTAC is part of the GNOde DataStore and is available to access, download, sync, and view datasets. HaySTAC has two main user components:
- HaySTAC CLI – A command line STAC utility for updating, and downloading datasets from the HaySTAC Server
- HaySTAC Browser – A web based STAC browser for searching, updating, and downloading datasets from the HaySTAC Server
Both utilities provide a secure way to access resources from a STAC catalog. All users must authenticate with the server to view and read the contents, and further must have permissions to access the directories (such as S3, Blob, etc.) where the data stored.
