The HaySTAC CLI provides access to a STAC server using a simple command line interface. It provides the following features:
Step 1: Download and Unzip HaySTAC CLI Client
Step 2: Test HaySTAC by running HaySTAC.exe at the command prompt:
Step 3: Configure your AWS credentials
Tip: You can get help with HaySTAC using the –h or --help commands on the command line at any time
By default, and after a period of inactivity, you will be logged out and accessing the STAC catalog as anonymous. To access to the STAC catalog for your organization, you need to login.
Login to the Data Store using your haystac username and password:
Note that the login session will last approximately 30 minutes, after which time the tokens will expire and you will be required to login again. Additionally, there is a Haystac logout command if you wish to logout sooner.
Use the “collection list” command to view collections.
Use the “item list” command to view specific items.
You can download the entire contents of a collection complete with directory structure using the “collection download” command. Note that Haystac reports the number of items and volume of data to be downloaded for you to confirm before starting the download.
To download a specific item, you must specify the item and the collection using the “item download” command:
HaySTAC has the ability to check for changes with your local directly and automatically sync/download the changes from Data Store
